The votes have been counted and the voices of APCI members have been heard. Thanks to the outstanding nominees this year, and congratulations to the following members who were elected to serve on the APCI Board of Directors:
Mr. Larson graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2007. He has been in the pharmacy industry for 13 years and has owned his pharmacy for 4 years, and an operator for 10 years. Eric serves on the Florida Pharmacy Association and was the former Government Affairs Chair. He is the current Speaker of the House and on the Health Leadership Council for Oscala County.
Mr. Sams graduated from University of Texas in 2006. He has been in the pharmacy industry for 24 years with 11 of those in the independent pharmacy industry. Shawn has owned his pharmacy, Louis Morgan Drug #4, for 7 years. He has been a member of APCI for 2 years and has been very impressed with APCI and the leadership's passion for the success of the membership. He notes that his perception of APCI as currently striving to provide its membership with strong and innovative leadership for day to day operations.
Mr. Southall graduated from Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 1984. He has been a pharmacist for 36 years owned his pharmacy for 29 years. He has been a member of APCI for 19 years. Frank serves as the Chairman of the Board of Marion County Health Dept, Board member of Farmer's National Bank and St. Augustine Grade School Athletic Boosters in Lebanon, Kentucky. His APCI mission will help independent pharmacies be successful and able to compete against any competition.
